# CIF price calculator

An approximate delivered price per tonne to your port, built from our own costing and this week's container freight from Nhava Sheva (JNPT). Payment terms move the price: the more you pay in advance, the lower it is.

## How the estimate is built

We start from our current rate for the grade on advance payment, delivered Mumbai, which already includes our margin; credit terms add a small surcharge. Then come this week's container freight from Nhava Sheva (JNPT) to your port and marine insurance. The figure is rounded to a USD 5 range per tonne and holds for seven days.

## What it does not cover

Import duty, taxes, port storage and customs clearance at destination are for the buyer, as under CIF. Other packing, part containers and specifications outside our standard grades are quoted separately.
