TGK Agro supplies rice, cotton, pulses and spices to importers and mills in Bangladesh directly from India. We have no office in Bangladesh: your consignment is processed at our facility in Akola, Maharashtra, documented by our own export desk, and moved by sea from JNPT, Mumbai to Chattogram, or by road to the Petrapole–Benapole land corridor where your import registration allows it. You deal with the company that sorts, packs and ships your goods, not with a broker.

What we supply to Bangladesh

  • Non-basmati rice — parboiled (siddha) and raw (atap) long-grain rice: IR64, Swarna and PR11, white or parboiled, 5% to 100% broken by agreement. Note that private rice import into Bangladesh opens by government notification and import registration is allocated to selected firms; confirm the current window with your clearing agent before asking for a rice quote. Import rules and documents

Food and agri imports into Bangladesh are regulated under the current import policy order. The importer needs an Import Registration Certificate (IRC) from the Office of the Chief Controller of Imports and Exports (CCI&E), and payment is normally by irrevocable letter of credit opened through a Bangladeshi bank. Rice and some food grains move only under government allocation windows — we confirm feasibility for your product before quoting.

Confirm the required documents and any applicable certification with your clearing agent before booking. Requirements depend on the destination and order; the list below is not a promise of certification or test evidence for every lot.

  • Commercial invoice and packing list
  • Bill of lading for sea cargo; truck challan for land-route cargo
  • Certificate of origin
  • Phytosanitary certificate and fumigation certificate
  • Product test report; pre-shipment inspection by SGS on request

Company APEDA registration: RCMC/APEDA/27827/2025-2026. This is not a certificate for an individual consignment. Rules change, so your agent's current checklist always takes priority over this page, which was last checked in October 2026.

Packing and minimum order

Rice, pulses and spices in 25 or 50 kg PP bags, plain or printed under your brand in Bengali and English; cotton as pressed bales of about 170 kg. Payment by irrevocable letter of credit or wire transfer, on FOB, CFR or CIF terms for sea cargo; land-route delivery terms are agreed per order.
