Frequently asked

What is the difference between fuzzy and delinted seed?

Fuzzy seed keeps the short linters after ginning; delinted seed has them removed, giving a cleaner input for crushing. Both are available.

When is fresh seed available?

Supply follows the Indian cotton season, with peak availability from November to March. Contracts can be placed ahead of the season.

Do you test for aflatoxin?

Yes. Each lot is tested and kept within FSSAI limits, with the report supplied on request.

How is bulk cotton seed priced?

Per tonne, FOB JNPT or delivered, depending on oil content, whether the seed is fuzzy or delinted, and the season. Peak arrivals from November to March usually give the best price.
