Packaging and minimum order
25 kg or 50 kg PP or jute bags with inner liner. Custom packing and printing on request. Minimum order is one 20-foot container unless agreed otherwise.

Each lot is sampled at sourcing and again before loading. Shipments travel with commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, phytosanitary certificate, fumigation certificate and the relevant test report. Pre-shipment inspection by a third party can be arranged.

What do MG-1, TGEB and TGSEB mean?
They are Indian export grades. MG-1 is Malabar Garbled grade 1, the standard cleaned grade. TGEB is Tellicherry Garbled Extra Bold, with berries of 4.25 mm and above, and TGSEB is Special Extra Bold, 4.75 mm and above. The bold grades are a small part of the crop and cost more.
What does a grade like 550 g/l mean?
It is the bulk density: one litre of pepper weighs 550 grams. Heavier pepper has fewer light, hollow berries, so a higher figure is a better grade. International buyers often specify 500, 550 or 580 g/l in place of an Indian grade name.
What documents accompany a pepper shipment?
Commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, phytosanitary certificate, fumigation certificate and the lot's test report. Pre-shipment inspection by SGS on request.
What is the price of black pepper from India?
It moves with the grade, the crop in Kerala and Karnataka and the world market, where Vietnam sets much of the price. Indian pepper usually trades at a premium for its density and flavour. Send the grade, quantity and destination for a firm quote.
