Frequently asked

Which turmeric forms and origins can you supply?

Whole fingers, bulbs and ground powder, polished or unpolished. We offer by origin: Rajapuri and Hingoli from Maharashtra, Nizamabad, Erode and Salem. Tell us the origin you prefer, or the curcumin level you need, and we offer against it.

How is the curcumin content confirmed?

You state the minimum you need, for example 3% or 5%, and we offer a lot against it. The lot's test report states the curcumin and moisture figures, and the report travels with the shipment documents.

What documents accompany a turmeric shipment?

Commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, phytosanitary certificate, fumigation certificate and the lot's test report. Pre-shipment inspection by SGS on request.

What is the price of turmeric from India?

It moves with the origin, the curcumin content, the polish and the season. The new crop arrives from February to May, which is when prices usually ease. Read our turmeric export guide for the grades, then ask for a firm quote against your specification.
