How the price is built

We start from our trading desk's Super grade rate for the grade on 100% advance payment, delivered Mumbai, which already includes our margin. To that we add the carrier's freight for a 20-ft dry container from Nhava Sheva (JNPT) to the port and marine insurance on the CIF value. The low end of each range leaves out the destination terminal handling charge, which the terminal bills to the importer; the high end includes it. Ranges are rounded to USD 5 per tonne. A letter of credit or part-advance terms cost slightly more than full advance. A port drops to "on request" when we have no current freight quote for it.

These are indicative prices, not a binding offer. Quantity, packing and the shipment month change the final figure, so every order is confirmed with a written quotation. The minimum order is one 20-ft container.
